Stage one of Bonco Buildings & Hire’s music classroom project for Kings College in Logan Village, Queensland, is complete.
Schools can experience changing enrolments, new program requirements and pressure on existing rooms. Portable buildings provide another way to create dedicated learning areas while making considered use of the available campus space.
A music classroom has different requirements from a general office or storage building. The intended class size, internal layout, electrical needs, ventilation, accessibility and relationship to surrounding school areas all need to be considered during planning. Acoustic performance and the final fit-out may also be important depending on how the room will be used.
This project highlights the wider range of uses available for portable buildings. Beyond traditional construction-site facilities, they can be adapted for education, training, administration, community programs and other specialised applications.
Staging can also help a customer progress a larger project in manageable sections. It allows each stage to be delivered around site availability and operational requirements while contributing to the broader plan.
Bonco supplies portable buildings across Logan, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. If your school, training provider or community organisation needs additional space, contact our team to discuss the intended use, site access and suitable building options.
